How you can help?

You can help CDCC in lots of ways. You can volunteer, make a financial donation, donate children’s toys that are new or in excellent condition, you can donate women’s clothes that are in excellent condition, or maybe you have furniture or bedding to donate to a family in need? Are you interested in becoming a CDCC volunteer? CDCC needs volunteers to assist with event management, community engagement, and lots of other areas. We put on programs and events for the community from children to seniors, and there’s lots of variety that you could potentially get involved in. Please note: This is not a fully supervised event. Parents and carers must remain present with younger children and any child who may require supervision.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and uses their initiative. They need to communicate confidently and positively with parents, engage naturally with young children, and be willing to get involved and help with the practical running of playgroup.

Position details:
- Monday Cooktown Playgroup – Term 4
- Mondays, 8:30am–12:30pm
- Commencing 12 October for 8 weeks

Possibility of an orientation/introductory session in Week 10 of Term 3.
