GingGing Playgroup

About the program

IMG 4493

Children develop a strong sense of belonging, being & becoming when they are nurtured and connected to their family. CDCC delivers Playgroup and Family Support Programs to promote the educational, physical, social and emotional well-being of children and families in Cooktown, Wujal Wujal and Laura.

Young children learn best by playing and interacting with their parents, caregivers and other children. At playgroup, you can join in activities with your child to help them learn about sharing toys, looking at books and playing with other children. Playgroup is a safe, fun way to help prepare your child to be ready for kindy and school. Playgroup sessions are held at Cooktown, Wujal Wujal and Laura.

This service has been developed to build family and community capacity and engage families and children up to 8 years of age.
