Family Violence Support Service

About the program

The Cooktown District Community Centre Family Violence Support Service offers case management with a counsellor who deals specifically with domestic and family violence.

Sessions involve face to face counselling in a private, confidential and safe environment. These sessions aim to help you achieve your goals, empowering you to regain control and live a happy, healthy life.

Counselling allows you to discuss your experiences with someone who is understanding, non-judgemental and supportive.
